Help!  I'm an Attendee

You've come to the right place, brave attendee!

  • What's happening at this event?


The doors open at 6 pm.  The shows start at 7 pm, and will feature our cover band, the Heroes, along with Egyptian, Oriental, and Tribal bellydance, aerial silk demonstrations, a professional twirler, swing dancers, and jazz dancers. 

Interspersed with the show will be silent auctions, costume contests, and other activities.  We have vendors selling treats and gifts in Dealer's Alley, and mask-making and coloring in the Artist's Gallery.  We'll wrap up the evening with an open dance floor, with a few Halloween and comics-inspired tunes thrown in just for fun.​

All proceeds, from the ticket sales to the silent auctions, will benefit the Pet Community Center, giving you the chance to Be the Hero and actively assist the Pet Community Center in their mission of keeping more pets in loving homes!

  • What does a ticket get me?


Each Adult admission gives you complimentary valet parking at the Noah Liff Opera Center, admission to all performances and activities, access to all Silent Auctions, entry into the costume and shimmy contests, and two drink tickets that can be exchanged for water, soda, juice, and in the case of our adults, wine, beer, and mixed drinks.  It also includes one (1) entry into the Pet Photo Costume Contest.

Each Child Admission gives you access to all the performances and activities, including our child-friendly activities such as mask-making and the Coloring Corner.  Child Admissions also come with two drink tickets that can be exchanged for water, soda, or juice.

Our VIP tickets include everything in the Adult admission, and also include reserve table seating by the stage, exclusive gifts, and a Hero or Villain themed collection of tricks and treats that are yours to keep!

Are you bringing a few friends? Consider purchasing an entire VIP Table, which includes 8 VIP admissions and a private table by the stage!  Further, with a VIP Table purchase, you get to choose from a curated set of table themes!

  • Will there be food and drinks at this event?

Yep!  Jim'N'Nick's will be on site vending their delicious menu of BBQ, sides, and desserts.  They accept cash and all major credit cards.  We also have several vendors in Vendor's Alley selling gourmet chocolates, bakery items, and other snacking goodies.

Each admission ticket purchase includes 2 drink tickets that can be exchanged for water, soda, juice, and in the case of our adults, wine, beer, and mixed drinks.   You can purchase additional drink tickets from the Box Office throughout the event, ranging from $2 soda, water, and juice, $4 beer and wine, and $5 cocktail tickets.

  • What's parking like?


Each admission includes complimentary valet parking.  The parking lot extends the entire length of the building, so we recommend following the valet line up to the main doors, which allows for easy unloading of costumes and passengers.

  • So . . . Do I really want to bring my child to this event?

You do!  The doors open at 6 pm, and that will give all our younger attendees a chance to get some yummy Jim'N'Nick's BBQ and create their own Hero or Villain mask.  Then they can take their newly made mask – or the costume they’re already wearing -  and enter to win the Child's Costume contest for great prizes! 

Think of the first part of the event like Cartoon Network.  We'll have aerialists, twirlers, and a live band playing your favorite hero and villain-themed tunes, and the Child's Costume contest is first up so our Heroes and Villains in training get to experience all the fun and still get to bed on time!

  • So . . . There will be kids at this event?  That's not really my thing.


And that's okay!  If you think of the first part of the event as Cartoon Network, think of the second part as Adult Swim (PG-13).  Adult Swim will happen around 8:3O pm, when the shows will become a little more adult-centric and there may be some profanity in the musical selections.  Jim'n'Nicks will still be there for those wanting to grab a late night bite, and the action will be heating up until the 1O:3O Dance Party kicks off!

  • Is there a program of events?

  • How do I purchase tickets?

Glad you asked!  You do that by following this link to the Box Office.  All ticket purchases are secured through PayPal - this is an added measure to protect you against fraud with the recent high-profile breaches of Equifax, K-Mart, and Verizon.  If tickets are sold out before the event, there will be no option to purchase at the venue, so be sure to get your tickets now!

  • What if I buy more than one ticket?  Can each attendee get their own receipt/E-ticket number?

No need!  When you purchase your tickets, you will be required to enter the full name and age of each attendee on your order.  You will be issued a single E-ticket for the entire order, which you can then forward on and share with the rest of your group.  The Box Office will be checking IDs and will match the name on your E-ticket to the attendee, so there's no need to generate individual receipts, and each person can come on in when they're ready!

  • What if something comes up? Can I cancel my order and get a refund?


All ticket purchases are FINAL and NON-REFNDABLE.  However, if you find you cannot attend, you may TRANSFER your ticket to a new attendee by emailing contactus@subtleevents.org from the email address in your registration, including the E-ticket number as well as the full name (as it appears on a driver's license) of the new attendee, and the new attendee's email address.

All TRANSFERS must be complete no later than 8:OO pm CST on 1)/12/2O17 to be recognized by the Box Office at the event.

There is NO COST to transfer a ticket to a new attendee.
